Every day you and I use clothes and other products which have words on them. Most of these products don’t say anything of meaning, they are normally someone’s brand which we really don’t care about and consequently no one reads. We all have to buy clothes and other products anyway, so what if when we purchased something which had words with meaning that helped educate and influenced others. Of course this is nothing new, there has been many causes and ideas that have used this concept but I was wondering if you could help us spread our message of healthy soil, healthy food and a better environment.
So I have created the products below to show some of the different ideas that we could promote like, Saving Our Soil to supporting Certified Organic and Biodynamic farmers etc. By using these products, you help share our story and shape our world. One reason I started my farmers market business, is that, when I sent my produce to the wholesale market quite often I didn,t know what price I was going to get, nor if i would sell it all the produce. Consequently I started to my direct sales business not only to take back control of prices and sales but also to eliminate waste and conserve packaging. It was a surprise to me when I started my farmers market business, that some people didn’t know that biodynamic was an organic farming method and we have a set of standards regulated by the government. It was also a concern of mine, that some farmers were saying that they were organic, yet they were not certified. Bio-dynamics the first form of organic agriculture design.
Many people think that organics and biodynamics are relatively new but Rudolf Steiner introduced biodynamics in the 1920s. Biodynamics was the first new “organic” farming method of the twentieth century. Traditional farming was historically entirely organic, but the use of water soluble fertilisers (at first phosphates, which were introduced from the mid nineteenth century and then later nitrates were also added).
By the end of the nineteenth century, use of both phosphates and nitrates had become wide spread thus ending the organic agriculture era.
